Services SETA Discretionary Grant Funding Window Extended
The Services SETA has extended the closing date for the 2026/27 Discretionary Grant funding window following technical glitches on the system and enquiries received from stakeholders.
Sector employers, employer associations, professional bodies, recognised trade unions and accredited Skills Development Providers are invited to apply.
Through this funding window, Services SETA will support learning programmes aligned to the Sector Skills Plan, Strategic Plan, 2026/27 Annual Performance Plan and the National Skills Development Plan 2030. These programmes aim to build scarce and critical skills and enable workplace-based learning opportunities with host employers.
The funding window supports accredited learning and workplace-based learning programmes, including learnerships, apprenticeships, Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning, Recognition of Prior Learning, skills programmes, Adult Education and Training, and candidacy programmes.
Applicants are encouraged to align their submissions to Services SETA’s sector priorities, including the Sector Priority Occupations and Interventions List and hard-to-fill vacancies.
