The Services SETA hosted its 2019/20 Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 28 January 2021. The hybrid event had a few stakeholders at the Services SETA Head Office while the rest of the stakeholders connected virtually.

The Services SETA is delighted to announce the appointment of Menzi Fakude as its new CEO, effective from the 01st of November 2020.


2021 – 2022 Mandatory Grant Applications

The Learner Management Information System (LMIS) will open on 1 February 2021 and will close on 30 April 2021 for companies to submit their annual Mandatory Grant Applications

The Services Sector Education and Training Authority (Services SETA) was established and registered in March 2000 in terms of the skills development Act of 1998 and is responsible for the disbursement of the training levies payable by all employers. These levies are collected by the South African Revenue Service (SARS) via the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), and are to be disbursed through a management system motivated by skills requirement assessment and monitoring.
