The Services SETA held its first national stakeholder engagement session this week in Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal. The goal of these stakeholder engagement sessions is to give stakeholders in the services sector insights into the public entity’s organisational developments.

The Services SETA board members, local municipality officials as well as tribal authority members officiated a sod-turning ceremony to mark the construction of the Mkhuze Skills Centre. Its primary purpose is to increase access to learning and training within Umkhanyakude District Municipality.

A bright and colourful day it was at Majuba TVET College in Newcastle at the closing ceremony of the 3rd Heritage Careers Expo. Themed “Unlocking the Wealth in Our Heritage” this year’s expo was launched on the 26th of May at Motheo TVET College in Bloemfontein.
