Notice of Extension: Mandatory Grants

The Services SETA is pleased to announce an extension to the application window for Mandatory Grants.

Following a written request from levy‑paying employers, the Services SETA Administrator has approved an extension under the delegation contained in the Skills Development Act, 1998. Section 4.8 of the Act states that:

“A SETA Accounting Authority may grant an extension up to a maximum period of one month from the date contemplated in sub‑regulation (2) for late submission of an application for a mandatory grant, subject to a written request by a levy‑paying employer.”

In line with this provision, the revised closing date for submissions is 31 May 2026.
