The Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Buti Manamela, launched the Heritage Careers Expo 2021 on 06 May 2021 at the Mapungubwe World Heritage Site in Limpopo

This year has seen the second installment of the annual Heritage Careers Expo. The Expo is an initiative of the Department of Higher Education and Training in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Services SETA and CAPES are inviting Labour Recruitment SMME employers to participate on the FULLY FUNDED Wits Programmes for 2021.

The employment services programmes run by CAPES in conjunction with WITS are: Employment Services Business Management Programme (BMP), aligned to NQF 5. Management Development Programme for Employment Services Professionals (MDP), NQF 7 aligned. Applications close on 22 June 2021.

WHO WE ARE

The Services Sector Education and Training Authority (Services SETA) was established and registered in March 2000 in terms of the skills development Act of 1998 and is responsible for the disbursement of the training levies payable by all employers. These levies are collected by the South African Revenue Service (SARS) via the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), and are to be disbursed through a management system motivated by skills requirement assessment and monitoring.
