FAQs for Learners
A learner stipend is a monthly payment made to a learner undergoing a certain training programme for the duration of that training programme.
The stipend is only paid to the learners that are registered and contracted to the Services SETA funded programme.
All learners should direct their queries to either the training provider and/or employer via the email address provided by them.
A late submission will affect the verification cut-off dates. Non-compliant registers are sent back to the employer for remediation and resubmission. This will delay the payment in learner stipend.
Should remediated information be received before the last day of the month, payment shall be effected on the 15th day of the ensuing month.

The Services SETA (LMIS) Team will work with you through a manual process to verify learners with the entity using the template document.
